It’s almost four in the morning – Evan and I are nearing the end of our Lord of the Rings marathon. Well, you know Bret McKenzie from Flight of the Conchords?

Maybe you already know this bit of trivia: Bret made an appearance as an elf extra in Fellowship. Teen girls the world over made him a cult icon of LOTR with various fan groups dedicated to the “Hot-Elf-Extra.” This attention did not go unnoticed. It resulted in Jackson giving Bret a single line in LOTR: ROTK. It goes something like, “My lady, the boats will not wait” some bullshit like that.

Yeah, that’s shot is from the scene in ROTK.
Bret McKenzie’s dad was also in LOTR.

I’ve seen this last night, ROTK, and I was actually punched in the face by Bret’s apearance. I had no idea. And I actually thought I was the only one that noticed. Turn out I wasn’t.

Oh my god !
I suck too, i watch the Lords of the rings marathon (in french ^^)
And when i saw this elve i thinking about Bret of The flight of the conchords … and i check my answer with this post !!!
