3:10 to Yuma

3:10 to Yuma, the remake of the 1957 film, deserves the great reviews it has been receiving. In fact, I would go as far to say that Russel Crowe and Christian Bale give their best performances to date in this film, not to mention Ben Foster who plays one of the most fascinating and captivating characters I have ever seen in a western – Charlie Prince.

The film is a rich character-based film for its first two-thirds, and finishes as an epic and true to form western that truly inspires. In an attempt to be brief I will say this: 3:10 to Yuma was better than The Proposition, and that’s saying a lot.

You’ll have trouble finding any flaws in this film.

    From 3:10 Corinthians,

“According to the grace of God that is given to me, as a wise architect, I have laid the foundation: and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.”

Knew it off the top of my head.
